Collaborateur info

An astronomer at the Montréal Planetarium since 1992, Marc Jobin has taken part in numerous multimedia shows and exhibits as director-designer or collaborator. He’s also been behind the Planetarium website since 1996. An amateur astronomer since adolescence, his passion for the mysteries of the heavens and space led him to take a master’s degree in astronomy. In 1994, his first total eclipse of the sun got him hooked on that magnificent natural phenomenon: now he chases after the moon’s shadow in the four corners of the planet – a terrific pretext for exploring the third planet in the solar system!

Marc Jobin is an astronomer at the Planétarium Rio tinto Alcan.
