Nancy Dénommée has been a resource management officer at the Parc national de l’Archipel-de-Mingan reserve for over 20 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the Université du Québec à Montréal and a graduate diploma in wildlife management from the Université du Québec à Rimouski. After working for many years on rare plant and seabird monitoring projects, she is now in charge of the Mingan thistle conservation and restoration project.

Andrée Nault is a scientific advisor at the Montréal Biodôme and has pursued her work on the conservation of endangered and vulnerable species for over 20 years. She completed a bachelor’s and a master’s in biology at UQÀM, followed by a doctorate in botany at the University of Kyoto in Japan. She currently works with different players (public, private property, NGO, governments, protected areas and so on) with the goal of promoting the conservation and restoration of our native flora.

Nancy Dénommée and Andrée Nault are collaborating on the Mingan thistle conservation project.
