3 prizes of $75 to $150 and passes to the Montréal Botanical Garden, Insectarium, Biodôme and Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium.
Group* entries (schools, daycare centres, etc.)
10 prizes of $50 to $200 in gift certificates and passes to the Garden, including an educational workshop.
Ages: 3 to 5; 6 to 8; 9 to 12; 13 and over
* A group of at least 5 and at most 30 people must have worked on entries in this category. A single prize will be awarded to the entire group. A school may enter a maximum of four pumpkins.

Entries will be judged according to the following criteria:
- ingenious use of inexpensive and recycled materials
- quality of the work
- suitability of the title
- quality of the work in light of the participant's age
Please note that the judges must be able to recognize the pumpkin or squash used in the contest entry.
Entries in the “biggest pumpkin” category will be judged according to their weight when they arrive at the Main Exhibition Greenhouse. For this category, you must call 514 872-8798 before delivering your entry to the Garden.
Contest winners will be invited to the awards ceremony, at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
