The Bhutan Glory butterfly is rare and highly sought after. It is named after Bhutan, the country in Asia where it lives. It is also found in China, India and northern Thailand. Today, the butterfly is protected by Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
