Description

Curator's pick

The scarab beetle is a real living treasure! These beetles are part of groups known as “golden scarabs” or “silver scarabs” because of the metallic shade of their wing covers. In certain species, the back legs of the male scarab are armed with claws and spurs. Most of them live in the tropical rainforest, from the southern border of the United States to Peru.
