Description

Curator's pick

The iridescent Madagascar sunset moth is considered one of the world’s most beautiful moths. It lives exclusively in Madagascar, where it is very common at certain times of the year. This moth’s front is as beautiful as its back. The delicate appendages on its back wings look like lace. In the past, its wings were used to make jewelry.
