Description

Curator's pick

To hide from its enemies, this mantis camouflages itself in dead leaves. If necessary, it intimidates them by drawiing itself up on its hind legs and doing an aggressive dance, during which it displays the spots on its wings. This voracious insect uses the small spines on its legs to grasp its prey.
