Description

Curator's pick

These magnificent beetles seem to have put on their fanciest clothes. Their bodies are covered with tiny multicoloured scales. Each one more beautiful than the next, they are used as adornment and in both traditional and modern jewelry. The beetles are mainly tree-dwellers and feed on plants (leaves, fruits, sap, pollen and moss).
