Description

The body and legs of these insects are long and thin. Generally, they are wingless, although some species do have small wings. Their antennae are also long and thin.

Life cycle

Stick insects look like miniature adults when they hatch from the egg. Depending on species, they moult several times before reaching sexual maturity.
