Émilie Cadieux

A doctoral candidate in contemporary Chinese history and a graduate in Chinese of Nankai University (Tianjin, China), Émilie Cadieux is enamored of China’s culture and language. She’s made a dozen or so visits to China as a student-researcher or approved guide. She lectured in Asian history before joining the Chinese Garden team as a cultural officer in May 2009. In these last years she’s forged close links with Montreal’s Chinese community and is particularly hopeful that that community will reappropriate the Chinese Garden, which she considers to be a true jewel of our city.
Émilie is now planning consultant at Espace pour la vie.
