Face to face with an entomologist: Pierre Veilleux

Behind the scenes at our institutions there are all kinds of people working to understand and care for our live collections. These short video clips introduce you to our devoted experts.

Chrysalises in good hands

This week you can meet Pierre Veilleux, an entomologist at the Montréal Insectarium and a real butterfly enthusiast. Over the past 19 years, Pierre has helped hundreds of thousands of butterflies complete their metamorphoses and go on to thrill visitors in the Jardin botanique’s Main Exhibition Greenhouse.
