Marie-Josée Bernard holds a college diploma in landscaping and the commercialization of ornamental horticulture from the Institut de technologie agroalimentaire in Saint-Hyacinthe. She joined the Jardin botanique de Montréal team of horticultural-information agents in 2002. She’s also occupied the position of assistant botanist for a year and has been a member of the editorial board of Quatre-Temps (the magazine of the Friends of the Montréal Botanical Garden) for a few years. With her colleagues, she transmits her knowledge and passion for horticulture and botany and sensitizes gardeners to the important role they can play in preserving biodiversity.
