Stéphan Deschênes

A geographer by training, Stéphan Deschênes explored earth sciences during his university studies. Highly curious by nature, he loved observing and photographing wild animals, and developed a passion for scientific popularization, which would lead to his working at the Montréal Insectarium, the Cosmodome in Laval and, since 1999, the Montréal Biodôme. For about 20 years he’s taken a particular interest in native plants and in pollinators.
