Accessibility for people with special needs
Espace pour la vie makes every effort to ensure that people with special needs enjoy visiting all its facilities.
In conjunction with the Kéroul organization, an accessibility policy has been implemented to adapt infrastructures and services to the needs and expectations of this clientele.
In collaboration with the organization À pas de géant, Espace pour la vie has developed a sensory kit. Available in all museums, it is made available to visitors on request.
What's more, free admission is always offered in our five institutions to companions of disabled visitors (one free entry per accompanied disabled person).
Sensory kit
The sensory kit is designed for people with autism. The five soothing objects it contains have been chosen to ensure that those who need them have a good visit experience.
Several kits are available in each of our 5 museums, ask for them at the reception desk or ticket office.
Pilot Project: Sensory-friendly Afternoons at the Planétarium
Tuesdays, starting at 3 p.m., the Planétarium is tailoring its visiting experience to the needs of people with autism or other people with sensory sensitivities.
