Song sparrows are medium-sized birds, characterized by a streaked brown and white plumage and a light-colored belly. The chest features bold streaks that converge into a dark central spot.

This two-toed sloth from South America has a rough, stiff coat of greyish-brown or beige fur, up to 15 cm long, growing from its belly toward its back.

The striped bass has an elongated body, a large mouth and a forked tail. It varies in colour from dark olive green to steel blue or even black.

The surf scoter is about the same size as the black scoter, but its larger head and bill make it resemble a common eider.
