Nerved manna-grass

This plant has a thin 30 to 100 cm tall stem. Its leaves are 4 to 10 mm wide. Its flowers form an open pannicle 7 to 20 cm long. This type of inflorescence corresponds to a group of flowers with more or less branching secondary axes and diminishing in size from the base to the top. The flowers form tiny spikes, or spikelets, 2 to 3 mm long.
