Seaside goldenrod

This plant grows up to 0.5 m tall. Its sturdy stem is stiff, upright and unramified. The numerous leaves are alternate and elongated, with a prominent vein on the underside. The yellow flowers are grouped in flowerheads that form dense curving clusters. The brown fruit is topped with long beige hairs. It is 7 mm long, hairs included.
