Two-leaved toothwort

This 20 to 35 cm tall plant has a fleshy white rhizome. Its strong stem bears two fleshy-looking, opposite leaves divided into three serrated lobes. The flowers have 4 white petals arranged in a cross. They are clustered at the end of the stem. The fruit is a silique, a seed pod that is longer than it is wide.
