Yellow ipê, golden trumpet tree

This large tree grows 15 to 30 m tall. Its digitate leaves are composed of 5 to 7 leaflets. The leaflets are densely covered in a rusty stellate pubescence on the underside. The tree has lovely yellow bell-shaped flowers. The fruit is a 30 to 40 cm long capsule.
