Life in My Tribe - My Daily Life

• Students make up a dictation based on an Amazonian legend. (Why is the sky so high? What causes lightning and rain?)
• Students draw pictures for legends that are not illustrated on the Biodôme Website. They can send these drawings to the Biodôme, which may post them on its Website.
• Students invent a legend about an animal in the Biodôme's Tropical Rainforest.
• After printing and filling out the classification table in the Mix and Match game, level 3¹, students circle the animals² they saw at the Biodôme and explain what the Arawete use them for (e.g. food, pets, jewellery, etc.).

¹ Since level 3 is more difficult, the teacher can fill out the classification table.

² The animals in this game are chosen at random from a bank of 60 species, so the animals will be different each time you fill out the table.
