After printing and filling out the classification table in the Mix and Match game, level 1, students circle the animals they saw at the Biodôme. They can do this activity during your self-guided tour of the ecosystems or back in the classroom, as a follow-up activity.
Using the drawings they coloured, make an identification guide for animals in the Sub-polar Regions and/or other ecosystems. The students can use these guides during your self-guided tour of the ecosystems. You can divide the class up into groups "specializing" in a category of animals, i.e. mammals, birds, fish and others (invertebrates).
Design a game to match up the drawings with the names of the animals in the Sub-polar Regions.
