Riopelle, a Bird Wild and Free

Bring your students along to explore Jean Paul Riopelle’s creative process and one of his great sources of inspiration—the white goose. Based on the interactive experience Riopelle – A Bird Wild and Free, this school activity invites you to explore the links between art and knowledge of nature, through the lens of Riopelle's final creative period and the migration of the great snow geese.

Immerse yourself in the world of the artist back when he was based at L'Isle-aux-Grues, on the St. Lawrence River, through video installations, interactive tools, and music from Riopelle Symphonique. Explore the tools and techniques the artist used at this stage of his life in a breathtaking immersive atmosphere that will inspire students throughout their journey, complete with river landscapes and flights of white geese!
