Origin and description

Shrub native to Québec. This is the famous “Lac-Saint-Jean blueberry” with its small dark-blue very sweet fruit. Its springtime flowering is white or pink. The green shiny leaves take on a beautiful reddish color in the fall.

Height: 20 to 60 cm
Width: 60 cm
Blooms: white or pink, in June
Fruiting: dark blue, August to September, edible
Attraction to wildlife: attracts birds and pollinators
