Origin and description

Perennial native to Québec. The plant can be recognized notably by its zigzag stem and its large leaves with well-marked veins. Small white flowers in terminal clusters are produced at the end of spring. Those are followed by red-marbled golden-beige berries that turn completely red when mature.
