Origin and description

Perennial grass native to Québec. This vigorous species produces light pink- or red-colored blooms at the end of summer. The foliage, green and bluish-green in the summer, takes on autumn colors of yellow and red.

Height: 100 cm (foliage); up to 175 cm (inflorescences)
Width: 60 cm
Blooms: pinkish to reddish, July to October
Attractions for wildlife: attracts birds
