Testimonial
Our 2021 garden was off to a promising start as we work towards our goal of reducing lawn surface to a minimum, and to grow a wider diversity of edible plants adapted to our northern climes. The stream, pond, shrubs and perennials attract a huge number and variety of birds which come to bathe and drink. While in the “potager”, the cucumber and squash flowers are an important source of nourishment for the pollinators. With the addition of a greenhouse this year, we can extend our growing season and increase our self-sufficiency with our organic vegetable garden. In this new decade, we hope to continue to maintain the equilibrium in our little oasis of peace, and to contribute to the ecology and biodiversity in our neck of the woods.
