Montréal Space for Life invites youngsters and their families to experience a Tropical Adventure at the Biodôme before it’s too late! Until February 5, kids can have fun playing, dressing up up and following the adventures of the little capybara in the puppet show, before heading off to explore the ecosystems looking for the animals, birds and fish. It’s a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy some well-deserved relaxation after the hectic holiday season.
Show, activities, games and discoveries in store
Follow Commander Macaw on a Tropical Adventure. Again this year, he’s inviting you to Capy’s Big Day, where you can meet the little capybara, follow his wild adventures and find out whether his ambitious dream comes true. Author, director, designer and scriptwriter Valérie Galarneau, who has always been a great fan of children’s literature, was inspired by the animals in the Biodôme’s Tropical Forest to create this slapstick show. The puppetry team brings to life a host of zany characters that are sure to delight visitors of all ages.
Capy’s Big Day
Looking for even more adventures? Then head over to the “Beaks and Bandaids” rescue centre, where kids can pick up some tips from our nature interpreters as they pretend to be apprentice veterinarians. They’re sure to enjoy exploring, jumping, climbing and dressing up. But they’ll need to keep some energy in reserve to pursue their exploration all along the pathways through the ecosystems and try to spot the animals that live in the Tropical Forest and lots of others, too.
