Ticketing

General questions

I have complimentary tickets that were valid until June 30, 2020. Can I get an extension?
Complimentary tickets that expired on June 30, 2020, will be valid until December 31, 2020. Ticket holders need only present themselves at one of our sites with their complimentary ticket, and access will be granted. However, as site capacity is limited because of the current situation, ticket holders may have to wait for a spot to become available before they can enter the site.

Jardin botanique questions

Is it possible to buy tickets in person?
Timed tickets are on sale on the Space for Life website to allow better control of the number of visitors to the site, and to ensure the safety of all. It is strongly recommended that visitors purchase tickets online to ensure that they can access the site in the time slot of their choice. However, it will be possible to purchase timed tickets on site as well ‒ subject to availability.

I have an Early Bird card. Can I enter the Jardin botanique site in the morning at present?
No, early access is not permitted during the pandemic. Ticket holders will be able to obtain an extension once the pandemic is over. In the current situation, in order to comply with the measures imposed by the Government of Québec and the Directorate of Public Health, we must control all entries to the site, which is not feasible with the Early Bird card between 6 and 9 a.m.

Can I use my Accès Montréal card or my Friends of the Garden card this summer? How can I reserve tickets remotely with these cards?
Valid Accès Montréal and Friends of the Garden cards are accepted for free access to the outdoor gardens. There’s no need to reserve your ticket online in this case, and cardholders are able to access the site (preferably through turnstile 2, near the Pie-IX and Sherbrooke intersection, to limit the number of visitors at turnstile 1) as long as the maximum number of visitors has not been reached. In that event, cardholders may have to wait (a maximum of 30 minutes) for a spot to become available before entering.

I bought a parking pass, but I haven’t used it. Is it possible to extend the validity period?
Yes. Simply go to a ticket office and you’ll be given a 13-week extension.
