Download the mobile application before your visit

Download the Space for Life application to make additional discoveries when visiting the Insectarium de Montréal. It provides amazing additional content and gives you an identification tool at your fingertips.

The mobile application is available free on Apple Store* and Play Store,* and is compatible with iOS and Android mobile platforms.

*Minimal versions supported:

  • Android 6 (Marshmallow)
  • iOS 11

If you don’t have a compatible mobile device, not to worry! Touch screens are set up in certain areas of the circuit, and you can use them to consult a wealth of relevant content. And of course, our guides will be delighted to satisfy your curiosity.

Opt for baby carriers or umbrella strollers

The use of a baby carrier or umbrella stroller is recommended to ease visitor circulation along Insectarium pathways. The unidirectional circuit includes some narrow, cramped pathways that may not be suitable for people suffering from claustrophobia, but is easily accessible for everyone.

Share your experience

Feel free to share the photos and videos you take during your visit on social media by using the hashtag #Insectarium, and to identify Space for Life in your posts. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, or subscribe to our newsletter to keep informed of developments and our different workshops.

Length of the visit

To make the most of the museum circuit and workshop activities, allow for a visit lasting about one hour and thirty minutes.

Note : tripod, flash and drone are prohibited
