Espace pour la vie, together with the Conseil des arts de Montréal, is issuing a call for applications for an artist residency at the Insectarium.
The Insectarium has created Celebrations of Entomophilia to transform our relationship with insects, and make each and every one of us an agent of change for the preservation of the biodiversity that is essential to our well-being. This is the context in which this residency is offered to professional artists and artists’ collective in digital arts, to support the creation, over a 6-month period, of a work inspired by the rich and astonishing world of insects. The work will be presented to the public during the fall of 2026.
