A brand-new object has just been discovered in our solar system… and it’s shaking up the classification of our celestial atlas! To help scientists better understand this newcomer, students will become astronomers themselves. In teams, they’ll have access to illustrated materials tailored to their grade level to explore the different celestial objects in our solar system.
Their mission: study these objects and invent their own ways of classifying them. There’s no need to stick to the existing categories — here, their imagination and logic are welcome! They can create groups based on size, composition, color, or even according to original criteria they come up with themselves.
It’s a great opportunity to practice cooperation, observation, critical thinking, and… to dream a little about the mysteries of space!
