Labrador tea

This average-sized shrub (30 to 120 cm) can be recognized in spring by its clusters of white flowers borne at the end of the stems, which are very woolly.

The leaves are alternate, leathery, with recurved margins, green above and covered beneath with long white hairs becoming rusty at maturity.

The plant forms colonies of fairly sparse shrubs.
