Geneviève Lavoie

Fascinated by the living world and with a background in biology, Geneviève Lavoie first explored the world of research in various molecular-biology, genetics and environmental-microbiology (aquaculture) laboratories. Her aptitude for communication and her passion for popularizing science then led her to the field of education, first at the Québec Aquarium and later at the Biodôme de Montréal, where she transmitted with passion her understanding of the living world as a scientific animator.
