Roseate spoonbill

This bird can often be seen feeding in the freshwater marsh, but they also spend a lot of time in the tall treetops along with the ibises. 

It is fed dog kibble, pink flamingo meal, horsemeat, chopped fish and shrimp, krill and red food colouring (to ensure that they keep their lovely pink colouring). 

There is only one individual at the Biodôme at present (a male).
