Heart-leaved aster

Perennial native to Québec. The basal leaves of this aster are heart-shaped (they are smaller than those of the large-leaved aster – Eurybia macrophylla). Its purplish-blue flowers are visited by several pollinators and butterflies. This aster tolerates a number of growing conditions, but prefers slightly shaded situations.

Blooms: pale purplish-blue, July to October
