Carolina Torres

Concerned with the protection of biodiversity, Carolina studied biology and environmental management. It was a fear of spiders that aroused her curiosity and prompted her to explore their mysterious world. Today, she is particularly interested in arthropods, including insects!

Carolina joined the Insectarium's education team in 2009 as scientific animator for the Butterflies in Freedom event. Since 2012, she has been working on designing entomological recreation activities for the general public and school groups. Today, as head of the Insectarium's animation team, she has the visitor experience at heart. She enthusiastically coordinates the creation of the educational offer and prepares the animators to share the best-kept secrets of arthropods.
