In 1990, after completing her bachelor’s in biology at Université Laval, Marie-France Larochelle joined the Jardin botanique team. Her work allows her to combine her passion for people and her passion for nature. A “general practitioner” of plants, she identifies plant insects and diseases and suggests to their owners the most appropriate solutions. Thanks to her reading and her travels, the vital and fragile link uniting humanity and plants became the center of her concerns. In charge of training volunteer guides since 1994, she shares her fascination with nature so that they can convey it in turn to Jardin botanique visitors.
