Sonya Charest

Sonya Charest is a biologist out of her love for life and a teacher by nature. She’s enjoyed bringing about encounters between insects and visitors and heightening the latter’s emotions at the Montréal Insectarium for over 15 years. Besides her responsibilities as an educational-program officer, she’s coordinated the Monarchs Without Borders program from 2008 to 2016. Since 2019, Sonya has been Head of Public Programs and Education Division at the Montréal Insectarium.
