This comic will change the way you look at the ocean. Illustrating the relationship between ocean protection and our collective right to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment, the comic highlights the fundamental ties between the beauty and fragility of the ocean and environmental justice.
Produced by the Biosphère in collaboration with the United Nations (UN) Special Rapporteur on the human right to a healthy environment, The Ocean and Human Rights will appeal to youth aged 10 and older as well as to adults wanting to learn more.
The comic was created by author and illustrator Alexandra Dion-Fortin, with content inspired by the Report of the United Nations Special Rapporteur, Astrid Puentes Riaño.
