Frequently asked questions

Do indoor plants have to be fertilized during the winter?

  • Jardin botanique
English

In our latitudes, most household plants live at a slower pace from November to February, because growing conditions (lower light, shorter days) aren’t favorable to their development. So there’s therefore no point in fertilizing them.

For your indoor plants to remain in good health during this period, it’s recommended that you:

  • give them as much light as possible;
  • lower the temperature a few degrees;
  • and increase the rate of humidity around the plants.
