Ecological Peace Garden

After the tragic shooting in 2006, we were looking for something to help the school heal and so starting a three year project on a 20'000 square foot garden. The goal was to create a peaceful, quiet place for classes to be held and for students to use freely. Another goal was to promote wildlife in the city and since then have had many insects, birds and even a groundhog visiting. Over 1500 volunteers have been involved and over 100'000 raised to continue the garden since 2007.
